The Southmoor House is a 17 story full-service pre-war luxury condop building built in 1937 and designed by Jacob M. Felsen. It has a one-story limestone base and a two-story limestone entrance surround, an entrance marquee and sidewalk landscaping. In this white-glove building some apartments have views of Central Park. Many apartments have been combined to provide both Central Park and city views to the south. There is a resident manager, full-time doorman, porter, and a gym. The Southmoor House is convenient to the Whole Foods store, the Time Warner Center, Columbus and Carnegie Hall is a short walk away. There is no board approval required for residents, and pied-a-terre and subletting are allowed.
